Called ‘The American who started it all’ in KODA Magazine about the modern Danish songwriting scene, Brett first brought his sounds, energy and expertise to Denmark in 1997, after his years as CEO of the National Academy of Songwriters. (Hollywood, CA). The veteran songwriter’s work appears on over 20 commercial releases, including co-written singles with Mads Langer’s (#1 single Breaking News), Ester Brohus, Ole Kibsgaard, Annette Bjergfeldt and many more. Brett’s 2017 debut album with The Pawnshop Preachers earned a 5 star review in BT and Prince Frederik as a fan, following numerous film and TV placements (MTV’s Road Rules, NBC Movie Of The Week, ‘Anna Pihl’, etc), awards (1st Prize, Great American Song Contest & Australian Song Contest, etc. Brett currently tours as a solo artist while also leading annual Listening Room Songwriting Retreats and songwriter festivals in several countries.
