Graig Earle
Canadian double bassist Graig Earle has been the bassist of choice on both sides of the Atlantic for many established and emerging jazz greats. Graig combines the clarity and sound of the great jazz bassists of the 1950s with a modern rhythmic sensibility and approach to group improvisation. Concerts, recordings and tours of Europe, North America and Asia with the likes of Victor Lewis, Bob Mover, Pat Labarbera, Denzal Sinclaire, Ralph Alessi, Aaron Goldberg, Grant Stewart and Gilad Hekselman are among career highlights, as are multiple Canadian and Danish music awards. Graig divides his time between Copenhagen, Denmark and New York City and is a student of Mridangam Vidwan Thrichur C. Narendran.
