Sonus Trio is a Copenhagen based clarinet trio formed by Fei Nie (pno), Natalie Harris (cl) and Andrew Power (vc), who met during a workshop with Thomas Adès at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2015.
The member of Sonus Trio have all underdone postgraduate studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, where they have participated in numerous masterclasses.
They have performed extensively in Denmark and have been regular performers in the Pulsar Contemporary Music Festival. Sonus was recently invited to perform the opening concert of the “Moderne Mandag” concert series where they performed a recital of contemporary Danish music to great acclaim.

A young group of highly-trained performers who care and understand about chamber music, its tradition, its present and its future.
Sonus Trio aims at keeping the spirit of contemporary Danish music alive by bringing the works of composers such as Per Nørgård, Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen, Axel Borup Jørgensen, Erik Jørgensen and Karl Aage Rasmussen to audiences across the country, in combination with classical repertoire by composers such as Brahms and Beethoven.
